Every year we hold a Raffle on Saturday — we wait until dessert has been served, then start pulling tickets out of bags until all the donated items have been won. Click this link to see how the Raffle works, what sort of cool items we’ve had donated in the past, pictures from previous years, etc.
You are invited to send in photos/descriptions of any item you wish to donate, and I’ll post ’em on this page. The prize for first such item this year goes to Marnie Knapp — She’s donating her own mosaic art, made out of ceramic and glass. Pretty cool, huh?

Ellen Eades is donating a beautiful koa ukulele: Koa wood soprano ukulele handcrafted by Kamaka Ukulele in Honolulu, Hawaii, probably ’80s vintage. Pre-owned prices are $450 and up on eBay. Includes case and picks.

Jim Wells is bringing two lovely instruments: “A Suzuki full size violin, case and bow, very good playing student model.

Jim says, “…this tele style kit that I built from a 35 year old kit, never touched. It has really low action, Tele pick ups and a belly cut in the back.



Mike Ingram has donated this Santoor, in a fine case with plenty of mesrab (too light to be called “hammers!” If you want to lessons in Persian music, Hossein Salehi is the guy to contact.
